He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Lopez (Rodriguez) and Panfilo Lopez; his wife Margaret M. Cervantes of Mary's Church; his daughter Eleanor; his granddaughter Sarah Margaret; and his siblings, Lenora, Louise, Sophie, Rosie, Pauline, Gilbert, Paul and Peter.
He is survived by: his children, Jesse Lopez Jr. (Gayle Brenenstall), Robert Lopez, Joseph Lopez (Elizabeth), Andrew Lopez (Nancy), Mary Anne Schaecher (Jeff), Gilbert Lopez, Suzanne Vande Moortel (Michael) and Madonna Denton (Andrew); his grandchildren, Jessica, Alexandra, Eleanor, Jesse III, Kyle, Anna, Christa, Marisa, Patrick, Michael, Gilbert Jr., Elizabeth, Jessalynn, Melanie, Claire, Connor, Elena and Eli; and his sister Delores Delgadillo. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
