He is survived by: his wife Raquel Martínez; his sons, Jesús Hernández of Moline, Oscar Hernández of Moline, Jorge Hernandez and Juan Hernandez; his granddaughters, Yuriana Villafana, Bryana Hernandez and Cierra Hernandez; and his siblings, Chole, Felix, Mento, David, Juan, Carmelo and Gloria Hernandez. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.

A Mass was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Saint Mary's Catholic Church (412 10th St, Moline, IL 61265). A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Moline Memorial Park (5001 34th Ave, Moline, IL 61265).
