He is survived by: his siblings, Jackie Mitchell (Kent), Joyce Baughn and Francine Simpson; his stepchildren, Mike VanAusdale, Hutch Carver, Jake Davis, Derrik Argo and Stephanie Wagner; and his half-sister Brenda Simpson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
