It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E. Sedlock Sr. (Moline, Illinois), who passed away on May 3, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John E. Sedlock Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ed Sedlock and Norma Sedlock; his brothers, Jim Sedlock (Lori), Joe Sedlock, Jeff Sedlock and J. D. Sedlock (Tracy); and his wife Patricia Anne Jolliffe. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, their spouses, and his grand-nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rafferty Funeral Home (2111 1st Street A a, Moline, IL 61265, USA). Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The COVID pandemic stole too many of these visits from his healthiest final years, but he still maintained deep connections through phone calls and lit up with glee for every FaceTime.
The family requests that memorial donations be made in John's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital or QC Animal Welfare Center.
