He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hardison and Erma Hardison (Nixon); his brother Carl Hardison; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Miller and Cisco Cruz.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy "Joey" Hardison; his children, Tara Hardison, John "Ryan" Hardison of Moline and Connor Hardison (Kaitlin) of Ankeny, Iowa; his siblings, Dale Hardison (Linda), Nancy Corlis (Lauren), Anna Till (Cletus), Bonnie Cruz and Suzi Spain (Terry); his sister-in-law Barb Hardison; and his in-laws, Ann and Neal Miller. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in John's memory.
