She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Smith and Helen Smith (DeShaw); her husband Harold Melvin; her daughter Judee Melvin; her grandchildren, Heather Melvin and Robbie Quinones; and her son-in-law Daryl Selhost.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Long (Bill), Daria Selhost, Melissa Estes and Harold "Mike" Melvin (Gwen); her grandchildren, Alaina, Brianna, Chelsea, Dylan, Danielle, Grace, Jane, Bryanne, Brooke, Matthew, Rick, Angie and Tony; her great grandchild Lorenzo; her sisters, Donna Brislawn of Muscatine, IA and Deanna McCormick (Ken); and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Smith, New Boston of Mary Smith, ID and Virginia Smith of Clark, MO.. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
