She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Monkus and Loriene Monkus (Dyer); her husband Gerald Dean; her niece Wendy Thompson; and her siblings-in-law, Danny Walker and Mary Monkus.
She is survived by: her siblings, David J. Monkus (Lenore), Richard S. Monkus (Arna), Roger J. Monkus (Donna), Betty Nitzel, Linda Mullin (Randy) and Nola Walker; and her pet Sammy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and 2 great great niece and nephew.
