He is survived by : his wife Yawa Biava Eklou; his daughters, Akofa Eklou (Ileri Dandondougbo), Akou Eklou, Adjo Eklou (Didier Agbodjan-Prince), Mawusi Eklou (David Akoli) and Mawuto Eklou; and his grandchildren, Emma Dandondugbo, Kevin, David Agbodjan-Prince and Noah Akoli.
