She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Shipley and Lillian Shipley (Brooks); her son Richard "Rich" Mark Brandon; her former husband Dave; and her siblings-in-law, Dalene Brandon and Gordon Byrd.
She is survived by: her daughter Teri Jo Connolly (Edward) of Milan, Illinois; her husband Edward; her grandchildren, Adrian Connolly of Peoria, Annalise Connolly of Lincoln and Owen Connolly of Milan, Illinois; and her sisters, Joan Byrd of Mechanicsville, Virginia and Phyllis Bloomer of Kingsport, Tennessee..
