Luz R. Raya Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luz R. Raya of Moline, Illinois, who passed away on April 28, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Ramos and Sofia Ramos; her brother Manuel Ramos; and her son-in-law Dennis Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Jose R. Raya; her children, Vicky Johnson, Maria Raya, Celia Sandoval (Robert) of Kenosha, WI, Margarita Mojica (Ramon) and Juan Raya (Leslie); her grandchildren, Joe, Nick, Steve Johnson, Vito Sandoval, Sofia, Samuel Mojica, Adia and Carson Raya; and her siblings, Carmen Ramos, Maria Ramos and Miguel Ramos. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, Moline, IL.
