Lyla J. Staton Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Lyla J. Staton of Moline, Illinois. Lyla, born on June 14, 1946, passed away on October 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Steven Staton. She is survived by: her children, Chris Wood (Leon), Theresa De Reus and Arlan Syverson; her grandchildren, Brandy Ploog (Dale), Samantha Blankenfeld and Michael Craig; her great grandchildren, Madison Eckhardt, Isaac Ploog, Jensen Ploog and Carson Blankenfeld; and her siblings, Sheryl, Deana, Janice, Joy, Melody, Marilee and Vincent.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. (6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
