With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Macario Lopez Zabala of Moline, Illinois, who passed away on June 17, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Macario Lopez Sr. and Epigmenia Zabala; and his wife Deborah Voorhis. He is survived by: his former wife Marta Carrillo Rico; his children, Victor Voorhis (Crystal), Valentin Voorhis (Adriana), Michael Voorhis Sr. (Tobie), Anthony Voorhis (Lindsay) and Marisela Lopez (Josue); and his stepdaughter Maria Carrillo. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.
Memorials may be made to the family to be established at a later date.
