She was predeceased by: her former husband Severo Velez; and her parent Beatrice Uribe. She is survived by: her husband Jorge Ramirez; her children, Juan Velez (Amy), Esperanza Velez and Veronica Rico (Clemente Ramos); her grandchildren, Uriana, Mili, Leslie, Javier, Ximena and Camilia; and her sibilings, John Uribe (Leticia), Peter Uribe (Melanie Lemon), Sofia Castillo (Galo) and Elizabeth Hernadez (Juan).
