She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Duyck and Elsie Duyck (Polfliet); her husband Louis VanDeCasteele; her son Stephen VanDeCasteele; her brother Duane; and her sister-in-law Sharlene Duyck.
She is survived by: her son Rick VanDeCasteele (Caroline); her grandchildren, Louis, Courtney, Ashley and Alyssa; and her great grandchild Sawyer.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Friendship Manor or Alzheimer's Association.
