She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Buss and Jennie Buss (Saylor); her husband Captain John Ackley; her daughter Judy; and her children-in-law, Craig Miller and Teresa Ackley.
She is survived by: her daughter Jean; her son-in-law Irwin Witzel; her son John; her daughter-in-law Allyson of Moline; her son Randy (West); and her sister Sandy Wescoe of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren.
