It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark A. Whitbeck of Moline, Illinois, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Whitbeck and Marillyn Whitbeck (Engvall); and his brother-in-law Fernando Patino. He is survived by: his girlfriend Kathy Umstattd; his daughter Victoria Umstattd (Jared Smet); his granddaughters, Cali, Aubrey, Avreigh and Kinsley; his sisters, Christi Steiner of Colona and Laura Rico (Oscar) of Tucson, Arizona; his uncle Tom Engvall; his nieces and nephews, Joel Vroman (Shelly), Vanessa DeRiemacker (Brian), Anthony Patino and Emmanda Merrill (Adam); and his great-nephews, Devon and Garrett. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Mark's memory.
