She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Dempsey and Marlowe Dempsey (Merry); her husband Richard Parein; and her brother Robert T. Dempsey. She is survived by: her children, Lori Buffington (John) and Rob Catterton; her grandchildren, Rick Clark (Shana), Christy Clark and Kelli Catterton; her great grandchildren, Carter Stone, Skylar Stone, Kameron Jackson, Silas McKay, Sawyer Clark and Olivia Clark; and her sister Linda Smith (Dick Truitt).
