She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Roper and Mary Roper (Kreider); and her brothers, William and John Roper. She is survived by: her husband Ed; and her sons, Mark Hess (Amy) and James Hess. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the National Cemetery (4205 30th St, Rock Island, IL 61201). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Riverside United Methodist Church (712 16th St, Moline, IL 61265).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Riverside United Methodist Church, Moline or Youth Hope, Moline.
