She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hagel and Rose Hagel (Sandrock); her spouse Merle "Pete" Kruse; her grandson David Fettiplace; and her siblings, Kathleen Filbert, Audrey Ann Hagel, Ardath Bridge, Donna Peery, Patricia Hagel, Bill Hagel, Norman Eugene Hagel and Jerry Hagel.
She is survived by: her children, Merriel Kruse of Madison, WI, Michele Kruse of Evanston, IL and Mark Kruse (Daniela Val) of Evanston, IL; her grandchildren, Dr. Michael Fettiplace, Zoe Kruse and Matias Kruse; and her great grandchild Callum Fettiplace. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
