It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ruth Baca of Moline, Illinois, born in Catron, Missouri, who passed away on September 25, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Simmons and Julia Simmons (Blair); her son Jerry; and her brothers, Butch, Melvin and David Simmons.
She is survived by: her husband Virgil A. Baca; her children, Catherine Whitney (Edward), Anthony Baca of Spring Valley, IL, Kelly Scaletta (Darren Mlekush) and Andrew Baca; her grandchildren, Joseph, James, Julia, Dylan and Madison; her great grandchildren, James, Noah, Alex, Stella and Whitney; her sister Judy Obenhouse; her daughter Chandra Wilson; her close friends, Bill and Kathy McGuirk; and her grandchildren, Tristina Marolf and Teresa Lewis.
