With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merriam Lee Gustafson of Moline, Illinois, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on August 22, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bernhard and Mabel Ann Gustafson (Hanson); his daughter Sandra Ellen Gustafson; his brother David; and his sister-in-law Harriett.
He is survived by: his wife Inez Kathleen Reiff; his children, Sheryl Martin Brampton (Dorman), Ontario, Steven Gustafson (Marites) of Milwaukee, WI, Alan Gustafson (Jana) of Abilene, TX, Kathleen Gauwitz of Peoria, IL and Gregory Gustafson (Sheila) of Arden, NC; and his brother Roger Gustafson (Bonnie). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
