She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey "Bill" Maltsburger and Vera Maltsburger (Hulse). She is survived by: her husband John Phillips of Taylor Ridge, IL; her son John David (Margaret Phillips); her grandsons, Michael and Matthew of Eldridge, IA; her stepdaughters, Julie (Pat Lang) of Adel, IA and Stephanie Gayer (Cris) of Andalusia, IL; and her siblings, Dewey Maltsburger (Susie) of Milan, IL and Iva Carter (Jerry) of Long Grove, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory (6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
