She was predeceased by: her parents, William Laurie and Lillian "Louise" Laurie (McIntosh); and her siblings, Connie Tittle, Carl and Carrol Foster.

She is survived by: her husband Jay Melton; and her daughters, Jennifer Melton of Moline, Stacie Melton (Shayne Fuller) of Moline and Tammy Melton of Moline. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
