She is survived by: her sons, Sanford Hotchkiss III and James Hotchkiss (Amber); her grandchildren, Hunter Hotchkiss and Halen Hotchkiss; her sisters, Kay Burney, Jan Serre (Rick) and Mary Petersen (Todd); her siblings' children, Bill Serre (Susan) and Emily Petersen; and her pet LaMonte.

Memorials may be made to Trinity College of Nursing, or The Humane Society.
