He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert Douglas; and his brothers, Kevin and Timothy Douglas. He is survived by: his mother Helen Douglas (Lafferty); his wife Sheri; his children, Jon Douglas (Keisha), Matt Douglas (Vanessa) and Katie Mertel (Mike); his grandchildren, Autumn, Charlotte, Dylan, Rowan and Florence; and his siblings, Mary Frances Miles (Jon), Trudy O'Melia (Terry) and Kenneth Douglas (Reesa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wendt Funeral Home (1811 15th St Pl, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
