He was predeceased by: his parents, William Reed and Mary Joan Reed (McDermott); his brothers, Mark, Tom and John; his brother-in-law Rex Robinson; and his nephew Jeff Picchi.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hicks; his children, Thomas Reed of Moline and Grayson Reed (Felicia) of Davenport; his grandchildren, Bella and Kinsley; his siblings, Kathleen Picchi (Pete), Dotty Fischer, Joe, Leo, Joan Wheeler (Ron), Julie Reed, Helen Robinson, Greg, Barbara Bowstead (David), Jim (Gala) and Lisa Reed; his sister-in-law Carol Reed; and also Kammie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Seton Catholic School in Moline, St. Joseph Catholic School in DeWitt, or for any Catholic Mass in memory of Patrick Reed.
