He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Whitcanack and Frances Whitcanack; and his grandparents, John, Della Whitcanack, Ira and Nina Chipman.
He is survived by: his family Patrick; his sons, Van Whitcanack and Christopher Whitcanack (Danielle); and his siblings, Debbie Bonnett (Greg) of Milan, Mike Whitcanack (Tina) of East Moline and Todd Whitcanack of Milan, Illinois.. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
