He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Nelson and Arlene Nelson (Schave); and his siblings-in-law, Clifford Hart Jr. and Jeri Nelson. He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Chapman (Hallace), Viola, Sharon Hart, Orion, Dennis Nelson, Milan and David Nelson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home (201 4th Ave E, Milan, IL 61264). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (18121 134th Ave W, Taylor Ridge, IL 61284).
