He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Stewart and Vera Stewart (Spencer); his siblings, Janice, Carol and Dale; and his son Patrick David.

He is survived by: his wife LaVelle; and his children, Pam Jackson (Terry), Paul Stewart (Susan) and Perry Stewart (Kristen). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
