In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Richard leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Richard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his father Richard Olver; and his stepfather Thomas Vermeersch. He is survived by: his mother Karen Olver (Davidson); and his siblings, Randy Olver, Terry Olver, Troy Olver, Jaci Olver (Doug Kelley) and Danielle Borglum (Korey Minard). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. (6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). A memorial service was held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Arc of the Quad Cities Area.
