He is survived by: his wife Judy of Mary's Church; his children, Anne Berens (Tim) of Crete, IL, Maureen O'Keeffe (Dan) of Buckeye, AZ, Joe Hourigan (Carrie) of West Branch, IA, Tom Hourigan of Aurora, IL, Matt Hourigan (Amy) and Erin Gende (Paul); his grandchildren, Michael (Angela), Nolan (Lauren), Kellan Berens, Ryan, Kevin O'Keeffe, Allyson Aunan (Landon), Shelby, Isabella Hourigan, Kyle Hourigan, Shea, Shawn and Griffin Gende; his great grandchildren, Nora, Andrea, Cameron and Rory Berens; his sisters-in-law, Penny Francque, Mary Escamilla (Ben) and Debbie Devine (John); and his caregivers, Jason and Liz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
