He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zvonik and Myrtle Maggie Zvonik (Brakensiek); his wife Rosemary Zvonik; his daughter Patricia "Trish" Zvonik-Lechmaier; and his siblings, Marilyn Holm, Allyn Zvonik and Dwight Zvonik.

He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Zvonik-Siefker (Robert Rupp) of Blue Grass and Karen Zvonik-Petersen (Brad Petersen) of Moline; his granddaughter Abigail Siefker (Stephen Medina); his great grandchildren, Malikiah and Nash Medina; and his friend Ronald Mlekush.
