He is survived by: his significant other Betty Shearer; his children, Brian Bubon (Gina), Carrie Smith (Otha), Melissa Hutton (Mike) and Becca Casillas (Matt); and his grandchildren, Anthony Bubon, Nicole Bubon, Sofia Smith, Chloe Smith, Joshua Traub, Austin Traub, Noni Casillas and Sasha Casillas.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
