It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger G. Mattecheck of Moline, Illinois, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roger G. Mattecheck to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mattecheck and Mayme Mattecheck; his daughter Connie; and his brother Eugene. He is survived by: his wife Theresa E. Donnelly; his children, Pamela Treadwell (Brian) of Sequim, WA, Cheryl Chaney, Roger Mattecheck (Darcie), Catherine Jeffries (Scott) and Blue Grass; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Kathleen, Jack, Sam and Jake; and his sister-in-law Barbara Mattecheck.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Christ the King Church (3209 60th St, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials can be made to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or Alleman High School, Rock Island.
