He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Clopton and Sylvia Clopton (Norris); his wife Gay Lundy; his children, Erica McKinzie (Andy), Amber Hancock and Allie McLaughlin (Joe) of Denver, CO; his grandchildren, Keeley, Konnor, Kole McKinzie, Levi and Logan Schroeder; his siblings, Teresa Walter, Bettendorf, Laura McGuire of College Station, TX and Rick Clopton (Jodie) of Batavia, IL; his stepmother Pat Clopton of Fort Myers, FL.; and his brother-in-law Doug Walter. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rafferty Funeral Home (2111 1st Street A a, Moline, IL 61265, USA). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
