He is survived by: his wife Carole Sandler (Stevenson); his daughter Cathy Gimm (Christopher) of Davenport, Iowa; his stepdaughter Amy Biscontine (James Starr) of Rock Island; his grandsons, Noah Biscontine and Michael Gimm (JaLynn); his siblings, Betty Figgins (Ronald) of Ohio, Mary Applegate of Indiana, Elaine Wiegmann (Rick) of Indiana, Jerry Smith of Arizona and Pat Smith of Indiana; his sister-in-law Carolyn Smith (Antonio Biscontine) of Oregon; his sister Kaye; his brother-in-law Jay Newton; and his close friends, Robin Bealer (late Kurt) and Pam Thonn (late Mike). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
