He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Firth and Joyce Firth (DeVrieze); his wife Paula Schmitz; his children, Russell (East Moline), Kimberly (Berwyn) and Michael (Brianna); his grandchildren, Elliot, Oliver and Rue; and his siblings, Deborah (Keith Baker), Nancy (Lee Parker) and Robin (David Hunt).
In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be made to the Ron Firth Memorial Fund, to be established for scholarships at United Township High School.
