She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Bowles and Lauretta Bowles (Clarke); and her brothers, George Bowles, Marvin Bowles and Darrell Bowles.
She is survived by: her husband James N. Rylander; her children, Allison Ryser (Joel), Corey Lodico (Amy) of Verona, WI, Collin Lodico (Melinda), Steve Rylander (Kelly) of Plainfield, CA and Laura Swanson (Randy) of Osco, IL; her sister Linda Collis of Evanston, WY; and her sister-in-law Ruth Bowles of Cordova, IL.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends of the Moline Public Library or First Lutheran Church, Moline.
