She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Edward Goodwin and Lois Eileen Goodwin (Johnson); and her husband Dennis W. Dixon. She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Norlene Clark (Richard) of Moline, Mary Louise Dixon and Paula Ann Dixon; her grandsons, Aaron Alexander Clark and Zachary Lucas Clark; and her siblings, Terry Goodwin (Joyce), Larry Goodwin (Linda) and Karen Mowers (Richard). She is also survived by her family, friends.

Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Sharon's memory (funds will go to Honor Flight of the Quad Cities in honor her father and brother, Terry's military service, and to a scholarship fund for her grandsons).
