It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Simonne L. Counihan of Moline, Illinois, born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Boucher and Marie Anne Lussier. She is survived by: her husband Jeremiah M. Counihan; her children, Marie Counihan, Peter Counihan (Cathy) of Huntington Beach, CA, Patrick Counihan (Shannon) of Tehachapi, CA and Kathleen VanDerGinst (Doug); her sister Jeanne Tarrant of Norwalk, CT; and her sister-in-law Ruth Rabalais of Rogers, AR. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Seton Catholic School or Sacred Heart Parish.
