He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Taylor Trainor Olson and Leon Trainor, Jr.; his stepfather Vance Olson; and his stepbrother Denny Olson. He is survived by: his wife Gaye Dunn; his brothers, Randy Trainor (Judy Parkinson) of Champaign and Mike Trainor (Dee) of Kansas City, Kansas; his stepbrother Steve Olson; his niece Madeline Trainor; his nephew Jack Trainor; and his cousins, Greg Trainor (Kristin) and Pam Muccio (John).
Memorials may be made to the Bix Beiderbecke Memorial Society, the Prostate Cancer Foundation, All Saints Episcopal, Rock Island, or St. Michael and All Angels in Mission Kansas.
