He is survived by: his wife Susie; his children, Amanda Archer of Carbon Cliff, IL, Christopher Archer (Katie Ollie) of Jacksonville, FL, Dylan Cross (Sara), Brittney Siam (Rick) and Alan Cross (Sara) of Iowa City, IA; his grandchildren, Sterling, Forrest Archer, Augie, Remy, Sunny Cross, Ava, Connor Cross and Carver; and his siblings, Sharon Meredith (Kevin) of Spring Hill, TN and Scott Archer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family for a memorial to be placed at Riverside Park, Moline in Steve's name.
