He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Peterson. He is survived by: his children, Ellyn Johnson (Alex) of Orion, IL, Emma Dhainin (Josh) and West; his mother Kathleen "Cookie" Peterson (Edwards); and his siblings, Beth Larimer (Mike) of Brentwood, TN, Greg Peterson and David Peterson (Toni).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Rock Island County Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
