He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilbur Rogers and Gertrude Rogers (Hellebuyck); his nephews, Jeremy (Sally) of Milan, IL and Chad Rogers (Leslie) of Galva, IL; his friends, Darla Evans, Michelle Collins, Julie Quested and Annette Sherbyn; his pet Maxwell; his siblings, Richard Rogers (Rich), James Rogers (Jim) and Julie Rogers; his nephew Todd Rogers; and his friend JoAnn Johnson. He was also cherished by friends and family.

The family requests that memorials be made in his honor to either Gilda's Club of the Quad Cities or the Quad City Animal Welfare Center in Milan, IL.
