He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Rant and Wilma Rant (Hamm); and his daughter Dina Rant. He is survived by: his son Eric; his daughter-in-law Laura Rant of Bettendorf; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Lopez (Pat), Megan Rant and Dylan Rant; his great grandchild Brody; and his sisters, Marilyn Rant of North Carolina and Renee Maye of Alabama.
