We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2023, at the age of 77, William J. Babcock (Moline, Illinois), born in Faribault, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Birdge Babcock and Clarice Babcock (VanWychen); and his siblings, Sherri Babcock and Peter Babcock. He is survived by: his wife Sharon L. Schmidt; his children, Jennifer Trembley (Geoffry), Bettendorf, Richard Babcock (Tiffany) of Normal, IL, Elizabeth MacKenna (Michael), Brandon Babcock (Ailey), Andrew Babcock (Margo) of Abilene, KS and Katelynn Babcock; and his siblings, Ann Babcock (Bettendorf) and John Babcock. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
