He was predeceased by: his former wife Joan Scholte; his siblings, Carol Kieft (late Bernie), John Scholte (Sharon) and Ronda Taylor (Jim); and his parents, William Scholte and Marie Scholte.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Klemoff (Rick), Renee Mondragon (Mario), Andrea Gadberry (Allan), Tammy Scholte, James Scholte and Timothy Scholte (Ellen); his stepchildren, Russell Hoekstra (Heather) and Roger Hoekstra; and his sisters, Bernadine Oberc (Fritz) and Patricia Smith (late William).
