She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Jensen and Dorothy Ricketts Jensen; her husband Jack E. Peterson; and her grandson Justin Peterson. She is survived by: her children, Susan (Larry Ekhoff), Ann Peterson (Steve Lanzendorf) and Jack; her daughter-in-law Janet Peterson of Lowell, IN.; her sister Linda; her brother-in-law Ed Carter of Momence, IL.; her grandchildren, Jessica Peterson, Matthew Ekhoff (Lishuai "Sophie"), Sam Ekhoff (Melissa Smith), Claire Lanzendorf, Evan Lanzendorf and Julia Lanzendorf; her great grandchildren, Jai Peterson, Travis Ekhoff and Shawn Ekhoff; her sibling's children, Lori Carter, Janie Weiss (Wade), Mark Carter (Sheila) and Bob Carter (Debbie); and her close friends, Mary Newberry and Karen Hughes. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (119 Market St, Momence, IL 60954). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
