He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Pontow and Catherine Giasson. He is survived by: his wife Kelly Pontow of Momence, IL.; his daughters, Athena (Adam Gibaszek) and Brenda (Al Lopez); his siblings, Mitch Pontow (Steve Isley) and Rebecca (David Bishop); his foster brother Chuck (Brenda Nowak); and his grandchildren, Constance Graham of Michael Lopez, A. J, Gibaszek and Elizabeth Gibaszek.
