He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sarah Youngsook Chung; his children, David Chung (Rhonda) and Sarah Chung; and his granddaughter Kaitlyn Chung. He was also cherished by son among two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Colonial Chapel (15525 73rd Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Skyline Memorial Park Cemetery (24800 S Governors Hwy, Monee, IL 60449).
